Cloudy With a Chance of Murder

Flint had left the lab to go get something that he needed for an invention that he was working on. He'd only left Chester alone for thirty minutes, but that was plenty of time for tragedy to strike. For when he returned he discovered th Chester had been shot in the head and killed. As Flint stared at his friend with tear filled eyes, Chester just looked back with dead eyes. Flint couldn't believe what happened. Who would want to kill Chester and why? How could anyone have gotten into the lab in th first place? There were no signs of forced entry. So how could he have been killed? Unless he was shot by someone who was outside the lab. That was the only thing that made sense. One thing was for sure, Chester was gone, his best friend was gone forever.

Flint: *walking back into the lab* Chester, I'm back! What have you been up t-*sees Chester and immediately drops what he has* *starts to cry, then runs* CHESTER!!!

Flint starts to run towards Chester, but stops when he's able to see him.

Flint: *crying* No.....no.....this can't be. * walks towards Chester's dead body until he's right in front of him then gets down on his knees* Chester.....who....who would do this to you?*picks up his bloody head and puts it in his lap* *sniffs* Chester.....you're my best friend and you always will be....*closes Chester's eyes then lays on his head* *crying loudly* I promise I will do everything that I can to keep your memory alive.....you have my word. This isn't goodbye my friend....this is until we meet again. Until then,........may you rest in peace. For I....will never forget you.....and I will love you always....

After he said that, he felt a presence..like someone was there with him. Then he heard the sound of test tubes clinking together...like someone was using them. He lifted his head up, half of it being covered in Chester's blood and looked over at the chemistry station, but there was nobody there. Could it be?....

Flint: Ch-Chester?.....
